I’m tired. I’m also drinking an interesting beer: Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA. I wouldn’t call it delicious, but it’s good, and it’s 20% alcohol. That means my 12 oz bottle is equivalent to six shots of vodka. Keep that in mind as my typing degrades.
So, I don’t really have anything important to ramble about, so I’m going to ramble about unimportant things. I’m going to consider this a short vacation from having to actually think, make thoughts cohere, and explain things. You should see the frighteningly long and detailed explanation of orientation tolerances I sent to a few co-workers yesterday. Somehow, they all thought it was lucid.
Anyway, where shall I begin?
I lost my 8 gigabyte memory stick. That’s a bummer, man. It really tied the room together. I’m sure it’s around here somewhere, though.
I don’t think I’ve posted since I found out my older brother can’t go to my wedding because the government won’t let him. Also a bummer. Suspiciously, he told me this right after I told him he’d have to wear a tux.
It’s 2009. I have only screwed up the year on a form one time so far — today, I wrote 1999 on a deposit slip.
I have crow’s feet! I’m awesome. I haven’t started balding yet, though.
We watched Coraline in 3D with the Popes. It was pretty cool. And I got the Pope to try a couple beers. And he didn’t find all of them detestable. There is hope for him. Yay for Delirium Tremens!
I did 100 push-ups in a row! Since KrisDi made me start doing push-ups, my back hasn’t been hurting nearly as much! Can you guess which of those two items is more exciting to me?
The more I listen to T-Bone Burnett, the more I like him. I only have The True False Identity, though.
I’m getting married in a couple months! So is KrisDi! What a happy coincidence! We picked out cake and flowers while we were in Chicago for the wedding shower last weekend. We saw GirlAndi while we were there, which was nice. I also tried some tasty beers (Goose Island Peres Jacques, Flying Dog Double Dog, Three Floyds Gumballhead).
We have to remember to do our taxes soon. Hopefully we’ll get something back because we bought a house last year.
I have to remember to get our 17 finished engagement photos from KrisDi so I can put them online and tell you all how tough KrisDi and I are.
Some friends of ours are getting married in California on the 4th of July, so we’re going to try to go down there for it. I’m excited about the wedding…and In-N-Out. And the wedding.
I don’t have to get up early tomorrow. That’s pretty awesome. I don’t have to go to work tomorrow. That’s even more awesome. We’re going to the Pacific Science Center to see Lucy with Mom tomorrow. Also pretty awesome. Even if it’s boring, I bet it’s better than work (even though we’ll have to pay to go, instead of being paid to go, which is an unfortunate circumstance).
Breaking news, pigs are NOT cows. Good job, Weesh!
Anyway, I’m going to try to convince KrisDi to watch a cheesy movie with me now, while I attempt finish this monster of a beer.
