No, no, Snaotheus, don’t pop an artery. Not that kinda ladder!
My physical therapist gave me some (awkward and painful) things to do to help the ankle/knee issues. Strengthening the quads is, as I already knew, a key element; I just couldn’t figure out how to do it without causing my knees to break and make a run for it to some less-stressful land populated with couches and potatoes. My Ace PT Guy, not surprisingly, knew how.
So yesterday, for the first time ever, I got up to the 18 level on the resistance spectrum on my recumbent stationary bike. It only goes to 20, so I felt pretty chuffed about that. Not for a great while, of course, and not very fast, but I did get there.
Yay, me!
And it’s Friday, to boot!
nice mother!
